In 2006, S & A Homebuilders began developing land in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, PA just west of Carlisle — The Stonehedge II Townhomes Community. The plan was for 12 buildings, eleven  would have four townhomes  and one  building would have five. Progress was slow  due to a housing bust and pandemic, but all 49 units were complete by 2025.  The community is governed by the Stonehedge II Townhomes Homeowners’ Association, and Managed by Community Asset Management of York.
